Travel Tips & Safety
Drive carefully on outback roads – watch for cattle and wallabies, slow down on any roadworks/unsealed sections and give way to road trains.
Telstra and providers using the Telstra network are the only mobile provider with reception in Karumba. Your room provides easy and fast access to free guest WIFI.
During the wet season (November – April), heavy rainfall can flood access roads.
For your safety, never swim in the rivers or waterholes due to crocodiles; instead, cool off at the local swimming pool or water park.
